Fished out of the Greek sea, steeped in tradition; the story of a local Greek brand.
Tou Prevezanou is a series of frozen, pre-cooked fish and crustaceans launched in Greece with the signature of the Goumas family, a small business of fisherman based in Preveza since the 1950’s.
In a sea of artisanal Greek products, the branding of this one had to capture real freshness and authenticity. We had to highlight the manual, delicate production of these delicacies, as the Goumas family tradition and craftsmanship dictate.
We chose our packaging to be simple, direct and ingenuous. We used the linocut printmaking technique to illustrate the types of fish and labels with die cuts to highlight the fresh sea delicacies.
The brand name, signifying the person originating from Preveza, is directly connected to the place the products are fished and produced, best known for the exquisite big prawns and talented generation-to-generation fishermen.
