A golden take on toast bread.

In a highly cluttered and competitive toast bread category, our challenge for Karamolegos’ new “Golden toast” was to create a pack that could stand out with confidence, not noise. The product had a strong point of difference: it is made exclusively with Greek durum wheat, giving it a thicker slice, richer colour, fuller texture and a more satisfying bread experience.

Our design approach translated this product truth into a clean, premium visual language. The ivoiry background creates clarity and shelf differentiation, while the gold color accents express the “Gold” idea in a contemporary way. The blue wheat illustrations add a subtle hint of Greekness, and the refined typography reinforces the product’s upgraded character.

Transparency was also key. The pack needed to let consumers see the bread itself – its thicker slice, colour and texture – turning the product into an essential part of the design. The result is a packaging design that feels premium yet accessible, distinctive yet clearly Karamolegos. A design that elevates the product, respects the category and gives “Golden toast” a strong, ownable presence on shelf.
